With instructions from her genius son's carefully crafted notebook, a single mother sets out to rescue a young girl from the hands of her abusive stepfather. Directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed, Jurassic World) and starring Naomi Watts, Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special), and Jacob Tremblay (Room), the film opened the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival before its theatrical release by Focus Features.
